heart is not always a pure heart, but a pure heart is always a good heart. So our heart must be pure if we are to enter and worship in the presence of the Father. So, what does that mean? A pure heart! Well if we analyze it in the natural it will always bring us back to behavior, being good enough, nice enough, back to good intentions. We will never be good enough or behave enough for God to accept us into His presence. His presence requires much more than our works. Don’t misunderstand, God is not trying to keep us out. His desire for us is much more than we know. The word states that we were created in His image. Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: So now that we know we must have a pure heart, exactly what does that mean? How can we achieve a pure heart? The word pure means: “Free from contamination, guiltless.” In order to achieve purity we must understand something about righteousness. Remember, we are wanting God to accept our worship. We do not worship to get into the presence of God, God allows us into His presence so that we can worship Him.
