Just as the physical body reveals the need for exercise so does our spirit man. We know to exercise our physical body when we are getting sluggish, weak, or lazy. But I would like to talk about something beyond just staying active and feeling good. I would like to talk about the training for a challenge or to conquer an opponent. This type of training requires something more than the usual workout or exercise. 1Ti 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. Are you ready for some Godly workout that is profitable? Then let’s look at some potential times of workout. One of the first places to start exercising faith and working out in your spirit is in Gods presence. An athlete never begins exercising in the confrontation of his opponent.
