3 I will give you riches hidden in the darkness and things of great worth that are hidden in secret places. Then you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you by name. It is time for you and I to realize what God intends for us to receive in this year of 2007. Are you starting to get an idea of the thought and caliber of what God means when He say to strain him with your faith. Another meaning for the word expand was to stretch. I would like you to see what God is like when he stretches himself against your enemy. Exodus 3:19-21 (Amplified Bible)
19 And I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go [unless forced to do so], no, not by a mighty hand.
20 So I will stretch out My hand and smite Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in it; and after that he will let you go.
21 And I will give this people favor and respect in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be that when you go, you shall not go empty-handed. When God stretches Himself your enemies will be defeated! You also will not go empty handed in this expansion of God. As God stretches himself in your behalf you will go with favor and respect.

Remember Webster’s Dictionary stated that one of the primary meanings of expand was to stretch! The word primary means to be first or original. So one of the meanings for expand is that God is going to put you first and that you will be seen as an original. Let’s look at what God stated was going to expand this year from His presence. 1. His Glory : This word in itself could easily take up a book let alone a short letter. But we will look at just a brief statement or two. The Glory of God is the presence of God in his blessing or character. I stated earlier in this letter, God is desiring to stretch out and cover you and I this year in a greater awareness of His presence. But it is more than that it is a covering of His character or attributes. What is Gods attributes? Well, they are the fruit of the Spirit listed in Gal. Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance:
God is going to stretch out over you in the blessing of His fruit. The Glory of His love, joy, peace etc.. Can you stand to have a covering of peace for awhile? You may have needed the gentleness of God in your family. This is the year!
