2. The anointing. We can not look at this subject without including the passage found in Luke's Gospel Chapter 4 verse 18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor. He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Can you see that God is desiring to use His anointing to destroy those things that are limiting you upon this earth. Now, the Glory of Gods presence is allowing this yoke destroying power to operate in such a glorious way that we are set free in God. But there is something I would like you to see that is covering even this anointing and glory of God. It is the canopy that covers over these forces so that we are free to receive from the benefits of the anointing. Isaiah 4:4-6 (Amplified Bible)
4 After the Lord has washed away the [moral] filth of the daughters of Zion [pride, vanity, haughtiness] and has purged the bloodstains of Jerusalem from the midst of it by the spirit and blast of judgment and by the spirit and blast of burning and sifting. 5 And the Lord will create over the whole site, over every

dwelling place of Mount Zion and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be a canopy (a defense of divine love and protection).
6 And there shall be a pavilion for shade in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge and a shelter from storm and from rain. Did you notice that over His Glory was a canopy of Gods love. How do we stretch out the anointing of God? By enlarging the canopy of His love covering. Lets look at a couple of scriptures that will enlarge our understanding in this area. Proverbs 10:12 (New King James Version)
12 Hatred stirs up strife,
But love covers all sins. 1 Peter 4:8 (New King James Version)
8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”[a]
It was Gods idea of love to cover our faults with his canopy of love in order that His presence of Glory and anointing could abide and benefit us. Now we are to allow the love of God to expand through us and over others through the confession of His love for them. John 3:16 (New King James Version)
