God is an encourager. Just when you think you are all alone, no body cares, God will allow something to happen to lift your spirit, to let you know – you are not alone – He is standing beside you, holding you up, encouraging you. God is always on the sidelines cheering you on. He is out in front of you encouraging you not to give up. He is behind you to catch you if you fall. We must learn to trust in God to be there for us and He is.
(Ps 37:3 Trust in the Lord, and do good’ so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.) God desires for us to trust Him. Throughout the scriptures you will find encouraging words to help you live your daily lives. One of my favorites is: (Ps 37:5 – Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust also in Him: and He shall bring it to pass). ` God has a heart to see to it that His children shall have the desires of their heart, this means you. God’s heart is to give you your desires. (Ps 21:2 thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips). When we learn to trust the Lord in all our ways, He will answer our prayers and through that answer encourage us to continue in our walk with Him.

Confidence is an area some of us are weak in and God is there to boost our confidence. I have no confidence in myself, but have all my confidence in God. (Ps 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man). That means you. Don’t trust your self, your own mind, but rather step over into the realm of the spirit and have the confidence that God has in us. God does not see us like we see ourselves. We must begin to see ourselves as God sees us and trust that He has our best interest at heart. As we grow in the Lord, our confidence grows that God is someone we “can” trust. The way the world is going today, it’s hard to find anyone who you really can trust. This is where God comes in, He is someone you KNOW has your best interest at heart. Your confidence grows in you as you learn to depend on God for your encouragement. People will let you down, your friends, your family, even people you don’t know. But god wants you to know, HE IS HERE FOR YOU – today, tomorrow, tonight, through thick and thin, He is with you. Are you tired, sad, feel deserted by everyone? (Ps 34:22 the Lord redeemeth the soul of His servants: and none of them that trust in Him shall be desolate). God will not leave us deserted, abandoned or forsaken. (Hbr 13:5 [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee).
