Our spirit must be fed daily. As we feed on the word, the Glory is revealed in us and Gods fullness is able to come forth. So what is this fullness and how do we receive it? John 1:16 Message Bible - “We all live off his generous bounty, gift after gift after gift”. John 1:16 Amplified - “For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift”. It is how we live our daily lives. To me, fullness means having all of Gods generous bounty, His grace, His favor and His gifts. When you are full you can not contain anything else. If you begin to pour more in you will overflow. Yeah! This is where the world can begin to see the fullness of God on you, because you will overflow out upon them. Eph. 1:22 Message bible - “The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church”. Stop measuring yourself with the world, and start measuring yourself with what God says the church is. Gods word speaks about the church. Who is the church? You are. I am. Once we realize church is not a building but living beings we are on the right path to Gods fullness. Is Gods full measure in you? Eph.1:23 ‘KJ’ Which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all. Amplified translation - “Which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him who makes everything complete, and who fills everything everywhere with Himself]” Message translation - “The church is Christ body, in which he speaks and acts, by which he fills everything with his presence”. When we get full of God, the world will take notice, because His glory will pour forth out from us. Our attitudes, our actions, our words will line up with the word of God and our lives will begin to reflect the attitude, action and the glory of God. God has chosen us to reveal himself to the world. Are you in the place God desires you to be? Is His fullness all it can be in you? Take inventory of yourself and then ask God to reveal the changes that are necessary in your life to become the person God desires you to be. Eph. 3:19 Message translation - “reach out and experience the breath! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.” Regardless of what anyone else around you is doing, begin today to determine you will walk in the fullness of God and allow His grace and gifts to flow out of you through the overflow in your life.
